New Website

Well it has been a long time since my last post, but I have been building and launching my new website at http://www.originalartshop.co.uk/ as well as experimenting with putting videos of the shop onto You tube, which you can link to from our website.

It takes a lot of time to build up a website - not so much the design but more the adding products and details of the artists and their images. The plan is to add all the new product available at our autumn trade show as soon as possible after it is launched so we can approach Christmas with a fully stocked website.

We have just taken on the work of a new (to us) artist from Manchester, Phillippe Aird. He produces large, abstract canvases using a unique technique that he has spent over 20 years developing. The final result is stunning. He uses a bright white background and the colours are bright and glossy. They look fantastic on a plain wall in a modern home or office. I'll add a couple of photos but they do not do the artwork justice at all.

On the sports side we are looking for some artwork signed by Lewis Hamilton, but appantly he is playing hard to get (or expensive) We have just had some good signed images of Ricky Hatton delivered
