Bob Barker and Bob Dylan
A Tale of Two Bobs this week. We now have all of the new publications from Bob Barker (the artist, not "The Price is Right" presenter from the USA). They can all be seen at www.originalartshop.co.uk and my favourite is "On Top of The World" featuring a view of Yorkshire at night. The street, building and vehicle lights in the distance light up this romantic scene. His other two new images - "Waiting For You" is based on Howarth - the village famous for being the home of the Bronte sisters, and "Where Dreams are Made" a picture that Bob painted when he was in a shop meeting his collectors. It started as a picture based on New York but he let the viewers change thge scene as he worked - adding a bridge and extra buildings until the composition was right. A stunning canvas in black and white.
